Safe Environment Engineering
provides system integration specifically focused on communications
and data systems for public safety. The Company designs, installs
and maintains computer and network hardware and software as part
of a custom installation package for public safety vehicles.
Some of These Services Include:
Satellite Installation – Both auto deploy
and fixed 2-way. Subsystems installation including voice, Internet
and Fax.
Satellite Television – Always on DirectTV vehicle mounted
systems for high quality cable and local channel coverage.
Custom single or multi-receiver/monitor installation
Cellular/WiFi Gateway hardware Installation – Utilizing
the cellular network as a reasonable cost broadband network
service for mobile vehicles. The WiFi Gateway provides a vehicle
hot-spot for local wireless computers and printers. The use
of WiFi devices such as Access Points are also installed for
high a bandwidth vehicle to vehicle network (for voice, video
and data) and as a receiver for real-time data from meters
and sensors.
Computer installation and maintenance – High performance
computers are installed to house heavy data base intensive
public safety software such as those that use maps and Geographic
Information Systems (GIS). Due to the sensitive nature of the
data housed on these computers much attention is placed on
security measures. The Company typically provides maintenance
services for these computers to insure that software updates
maintained.
Network Integration Simplification – Whereas all these
systems have a benefit in providing fast, diverse and interoperable
data, their ease of use is imperative, especially during the
stress of an incident. Recognizing this need the Company installs
both hardware and software solutions that seamlessly interconnect
and manage these networks wherein NO user intervention is required.
Power System Installation – The mobile use of this
support equipment can be quite reliable as long as a reasonable
environmental temperature is maintained and clean high quality
AC power is provided. The Company integrates and installs power
systems that include voltage inverters, uninterruptible power
supplies and auto transfer switches.
Custom Equipment – For over 13 years Safe Environment
Engineering has been integrating 3rd party equipment to support
our customers’ safety needs. The Company welcomes the
opportunity to integrate custom equipment on an as needed basis.
Weather stations, video cameras, custom rack enclosures and
specialized fittings are just some of the additional integrated
items requested by our customers.
